Talking to your London matchmaking service if you're stuck for ideas on what to see and do with your date on Valentine's Day this year. But first have a quick read of our blog post to see if there are a few things you'd like to get up to on our list.
Valentine's Evening With The Stars
What could be more romantic than an evening staring at the stars at The Royal Observatory in Greenwich? You can enjoy a glass of bubbly, stargaze through a huge Victorian telescope and watch a planetarium show.
Cahoots Presents A Very Squiffy Valentine's Day Picnic
Cahoots is an amazing subterranean cocktail bar in Kingly Court Station and this year the powers that be are offering happy couples the chance to get themselves a hamper with some delicious ration-inspired food and drink. Think pork pies, Victoria sponge and pork pies. Plus you can dress up in period costume, all provided by the bar.
Dinner at Claude's Kitchen
Make your way to Parsons Green and Amuse Bouche Champagne Bar, and you'll find the elusive Claude's Kitchen, a really fun and romantic little spot in a room above the bar. The menu changes each week but the food is amazing thanks to Club Gascon-trained chef Claude Compton. The service is amazing as well so if you're looking for somewhere warm and welcoming, this would be a wonderful choice.
Drinks at Sun Tavern
If you want to take someone on a first date and don't know where to go, get on down to Sun Tavern on Bethnal Green Road. It's been a pub since 1851 and has almost 40 different brands of Irish spirits on offer, as well as cocktails and good beers, so you'll be spoiled for choice.
