Dating Fraud Cases 'On The Rise'

If you're looking for dating tips for men and women, it would perhaps be better to use a matchmaking service like Elect Club rather than using apps or websites to find love. That's because research from virus software company Norton has just revealed that almost one-third of daters have in fact been approached by people in need of financial help. In fact, police figures show that in 2015 there were 3,363 cases of dating fraud reported, a rise of two per cent compared with 2014, the Daily Telegraph reports. Apparently, fraudsters make their own highly realistic profiles using stolen photos and featuring fake details before spending weeks speaking to people. Once the trust has been gained, they start asking for money. Trying to find that one special person is already hard enough without having to deal with dating fraud and other such considerations. It's vital that you choose a matchmaking company that you can trust and that properly vets the people that make use of its service. Here at Elect Club, we have more than ten years experience in the matchmaking industry and was nominated for the Best Dating Coach 2015 and Best Matchmaker 2014 titles at the iDate Awards. We meet and greet with each of our members personally so you know that you'll be able to trust anyone you meet through our service. To find out more about how we could help you find love this year, give us a phone call or send us an email today. We're here to help you find the one!
