The Elect Club Dating Agency was originally formed in London, way back in 2005, right from the start it was an upmarket, sophisticated service that gave London professionals the chance to meet each other through high quality dating events and a specialist personal matchmaking service that was extremely well respected.
In recent years however and particularly in the years since the Covid pandemic, working patterns within London have changed, with many more people working from home and commuting into London once or twice each week and sometimes less frequently still.
This has been an opportunity to spread our wings somewhat and to bring our professional dating service to other cities and county locations and Tyne and Wear is now one of them.

How our Tyne and Wear Dating Agency Works
It often surprises people that contact us that our service is not an online service or anything to do with a smartphone app. Both of which have become the norm over the last 2 decades or so. But our dating service is built around the expertise of our matchmaking team, one of which is usually nominated as a dedicated matchmaker for each client and we then work with that person to initially build your dating profile, choose your best photographs and then to search our database for likely matches that we feel you are likely to be compatible with.
All of our client base has been personally interviewed by one of our membership advisers or usually a matchmaker, we then carefully check out our potential members to ensure that they have totally genuine, don’t have an existing partner, have not been involved in crime and are solvent. Prior to the service commencing.
About our Personal Matchmaking Service
Personal Matchmaking is not anything new, we were around long before online dating hit the UK, in the late 1990’s and is in fact older than the UK itself, with the first London Dating Agency (called a matrimonial agency in those days, having opened its doors 2 years before the union between the 4 home nations was established in 1707. So, it has stood the test of time, we believe because, face-to-face, traditional dating works and can produce results that on the whole are more credible and effective, than you trawling through thousands of profiles alone online or swiping left or right on a nondescript dating app on your smartphone.
