We are proud to say that the Elect Club Dating Agency, has been around for many years. We were originally formed in London, way back in 2005 and right from the start it was an upmarket, sophisticated service that was on offer. A service that gave London professionals the chance to meet each other through high quality dating events and a specialist personal matchmaking service that was extremely well respected both in London and also internationally.
Things have changed in recent years however and particularly since the Covid pandemic, working patterns within London and most cities around the UK have changed, with many more people working from home and commuting into their office once or twice each week and sometimes less frequently still.
This has been an opportunity for Elect Club to spread our wings somewhat to fill the gap in terms of meeting opportunities and to bring our professional dating service to other cities and county locations across the country and Teesside is now one of them.

About our Personal Matchmaking Service
It’s also often something of a surprise to many that Personal Matchmaking is not anything new. We were around long before online dating and dating through smartphone apps hit the UK, from the late 1990’s onwards and is in fact older than the UK itself, with the first London Dating Agency (called a matrimonial bureau in those days), having opened its doors 2 years before the union between the 4 home nations occurred in 1707. So personal matchmaking is more than 300 years old and very well established.
