The Elect Club dating service was first formed as long ago as 2005 by entrepreneurs Rosemary and Hayley Hill, initially in Covent Garden, Central London. Right from its incorporation the aim was for it to be an upmarket dating service for people from a professional, business, entrepreneurial, academic or medical background looking to date and find a partner of similar quality to themselves. Initially targeting people living or working in London and providing a sophisticated personal matchmaking service, dating coaching and superb quality dating events for them.
Times have changed more recently however, particularly since the Covid pandemic, working in London and in other cities around the UK has changed and increasingly more and more people have been working from home and commuting into their office, typically once or twice a week and on occasions less frequently. This applies to Scotland and its cities too, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Dunfermline, Aberdeen and Inverness, as well as large town locations also.
This in turn has created an opportunity for Elect Club to spread our wings somewhat and widen our target market to provide a national coverage, that includes Scotland and we have gradually built one of the largest databases of quality singles anywhere in the country, where each has been personally interviewed and then carefully vetted.
