Elect Club was originally formed in London, way back in 2005 by Rosemary and Hayley Hill. It was an upmarket, sophisticated dating service that gave London professionals the chance to meet each other through high quality dating events and a specialist personal matchmaking service that was extremely well respected and sought after, throughout the capital.
In recent years however and particularly in the years since the Covid pandemic, working patterns within London and other cities around the UK have changed, with many more people working from home and commuting into their office once or twice each week and sometimes less frequently than that.
Social and meeting opportunities have therefore become fewer and the need for our service has increased considerably. So, there has been an opportunity to spread our wings somewhat and to bring our professional dating service to other cities and county locations all around the UK and the great news is that Greater Manchester is now one of them. Including all 10 of the Boroughs that make up the county, Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan and the cities of Manchester and Salford.

How our Manchester Dating Agency Works
When they first discover Elect Club, it often surprises people that our service is not online or anything to do with a smartphone app – it is vastly different and more personal than that. Both meeting online and via smartphone apps have become the norm over the last 2 decades or so but we are pleased to say that our dating service is built around the expertise of our matchmaking team.
One of our team is usually nominated as a dedicated matchmaker for each client and we then work with that person to initially build your dating profile, choose your photographs or provide a free photoshoot if you come into our office and then frequently search our database on your behalf, for matches that we feel you are likely to be compatible with and that can work for you. With your matchmaker taking feedback after each date.
We are proud to say that all of our client base has been personally interviewed by one of our membership advisers or usually a matchmaker prior to joining, we then carefully check out our potential members to ensure that they are totally genuine, don’t have an existing partner, have not been involved in crime and are solvent. We can then match them with complete confidence and take away a lot of the stress associated with dating in the 21st century.
